Hint: Don't Get Tendinitis
So this is my digital painting midterm. Obiviously it's not done, but you can blame my recent case of tendinitis for that. I will end up finishing it when my wrist gets better, but until then, we press on.

I Miss my Dragons
Some speed painting dragons that I have done to fulfill my need to draw dragons. I miss you guys. :)

Thought you guys might enjoy this.
I love drawing expressions. Like... way too much. And when I see pretty dead and lifeless faces in video games it makes me cringe. Legend of Zelda is no exception. Their faces are so flat... and their expressions are obvious. They is no subtly... no tact. I want to see muscle tissue move when someone smiles, or have their brow move down when they're angry. Anything to show that these characters that a lot of us love have more life than a copy paste expression.

Another Work In Progress
College and commissions are awesome, but it prevents me from going into my personal work sometimes. So many works in progress to get to...
Rahvin makes another appearance.

Aka redux
Sketching out my little red character once more, but with improvements added. Hopefully her shape isn't has interrupted as in the painting. The hair did a lot of negative things toward my character. Will probably choose a lighter... lighting scheme.

Scratch that, Reverse it - Book Cover, finished
You know when you get half way through a project and then you realize, "This sucks?"
Yeah, I had one of those moments. So I did the cover over again. I went down to simple, instead of complex, and this worked out so much better in my opinion. Off to send this to the author.

Skyward Sword Waltula
A spider that has six legs and four eyes - wait... what?

Skyward Sword Octorok
Zelda Informer wanted me as one of their artists for their Zelda walk through, and they are currently wanting artwork for Skyward Sword. I'm currently doing enemy artwork, and the new Octoroks are just so darn cool. Their colors are awesome. Really nice complimentary balance there.
I hope the site likes it. I sure do!

Eva - In Progress
This is still in progress. I think I need to make the mountains a darker purple, as well as the crystals on her chain belt. It's tooo briiight. Still a lot more work to do for this one. But it's on its way.

Cottage
I'm sure to those who are more talented than me, that this is a garish butchering of color and light, but I gotta start somewhere. Forest type of lighting is my favorite kind of lighting... :P. I have to do it.

Volvagia
This was a concept piece I did for the Zelda Project for one of the photo shoots. I was in charge of redesigning Volvagia, the evil fire breathing dragon. It was a difficult, but great task.

Eva 2
Remember that sketch I did of Eva like... yesterday? I hated it today, so I did it again. Now she looks more awesome. I think. Still in progress though. Had to add chains to her now.

Rahvin 2
Just spare time stuff from work to blow off steam between projects. The textures turned out nice. But I also made an extra effort in the painting job, and trying to make it more my own style rather than someone else's. But... there's still a lot of influences. XD

Selnam
Selnam is a character of a novel that is a joint project between Anna Stansfield and I.
Selnam is a Jehikarian who escaped the planet Jehikar during the radical and horrendous governmental reforms that recently rook place. One of the actual governmental officials, Selnam suffered a powerful spell attack, which wracked his body with heavy burns. As a result, most of his flesh is twisted, and he prefers to keep himself covered as much as possible. Including his face.
After his escape, he managed to join up on a flyer crew as an engineer, along with another Jehikarian named Jeena. The now both work on Roary's flyer.

Quicky concepts -Roary faces
Right so, anybody who knows me sort of knows who this guy is. He's a main character of mine named Roary, and like any good character (har har), at certain times he transforms into a monstrosity and goes on a killing frenzy. Either way, I'm trying to find a newer face for him. He looked too... "pretty" still. Still too much like roary, rather then a beast to be feared. This was me experimenting on ferociousness, as well as trying to retain some of the aspects of Roary's face. I'm going to have to pull more features I think.
I like the first two the best. I might work with those.
